Missions

Missions work at home and abroad is a major component of the ministry of Delaware Bible Church.

We partner with thirty families or individuals who have dedicated their lives to full-time ministry. Five of these have been sent out directly from Delaware Bible Church. Collectively, these workers serve as pastors, support personnel, Bible translators, church planters, prayer warriors, teachers, and more. Whatever their ministry may be, they strive to make the name of Jesus known in their community.

We currently support missionaries working in Argentina, Chad, Colombia, Guatemala, New Zealand, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Suriname, as well as in a closed North African country and in a closed Southeast Asian country. Stateside ministries include a church plant in Florida and a student athletic outreach based in Los Angeles; Ohio ministries such as Scioto Hills Camp, Cleveland inner city work, AWANA, Village Missions in Huron, and International students at OSU; and here in Delaware, Pregnancy Resources of Delaware County and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Our Missions Conferences and frequent in-person and video “check-ins” keep missions work at the forefront of the church and challenge us to look for ways to serve in our own community.
