Pastoral Staff

Scott Tiede

Senior Pastor

Scott Tiede grew up on a farm in Francesville, Indiana. Although he attended church as a child, it was not until he was 17 that he made a personal commitment to Christ, challenged by the witness of his high-school sweetheart, Tracy—who became his wife in 1995. Scott earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and worked in that field until he felt the Lord leading him into full-time Christian ministry. In 2005, Scott went on staff as the Assistant Pastor at Bethel Bible Church in Winamac, IN. In 2010, he earned his Master of Divinity degree and certification from the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) from Faith Bible Seminary in Lafayette, IN. The Tiedes came to Delaware in 2012, where Scott served a year-long internship with Senior Pastor Marvin Hintz. The congregation voted to name him the new Senior Pastor in 2013, upon Pastor Hintz’s retirement. As he shepherds this congregation, Scott finds motivation in, as he puts it, “being a voice of truth in a world of lies.” Scott and Tracy have a son and three daughters and soon will begin to adjust to life as empty nesters.

Brad Harris

Executive Pastor

Born and raised in Marietta, Ohio, Brad Harris put his trust in Christ as a four-year-old; eight years later, he felt the Lord calling him into the ministry. Brad attended Bob Jones University and graduated with a B.A. in Bible. He went on to earn a Master of Biblical Studies degree from Virginia Beach Theological Seminary and certification from the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). After an internship at DBC, Brad was hired as a full-time Associate Pastor in 2014. Today, he oversees the main administrative needs of the church (which sometimes overlap with the needs of the school) and its outreach and children’s ministries, including serving as Commander of the AWANA program and Director of Vacation Bible School. Inspired by John 3:30—“He must increase, but I must decrease”—Brad enjoys ministering in a multi-generational church and loves the diversity of people that God has brought together here. Brad and Anna, his wife, were married in 2022 and have a young son.

Jim Stevanus

Pastor of Biblical Counseling

Originally from Cumberland, Maryland, Jim Stevanus graduated from Penn State. He came to Christ not long afterward, while working in Alaska and visiting a church there. Jim then pursued and achieved Master of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees from Baptist Bible Seminary. He and Jacquie, his wife, came to Ohio from a ministry in Indiana in 2002. Jim served as lead pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church in Dublin for 21 years before deciding that the Lord was leading him in a new direction: expanding counseling ministries, through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), in local churches. He describes his goal as “to raise up an army of counselors who will walk with hurting people and point them to the sufficiency of Scripture and the victory in Christ.” Jim joined the DBC staff in a part-time role in 2023 and says that his ministry “affords a front-row seat to watch God unite fragmented families; instill victory over addictions; infuse hope into brokenness; and, above all, to glorify Himself.” Jim and Jacquie have four adult children—a son and three daughters.

Russ Martin

Pastor of Biblical Discipleship

Russ Martin grew up in St. Marys, Ohio, and committed at an early age to following Jesus Christ. While attending Bowling Green State University, he was discipled in the Navigators ministry, and he maintains an association with them today. After graduating with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, Russ and Jill, his wife, moved to Delaware, where he began a 42-year career in law enforcement. He moved up the ranks in the Delaware Police Department, served as Chief of Police, and ultimately was elected Sheriff of Delaware County. As members at DBC, both Russ and Jill were involved in youth work, and Jill was an intervention specialist at DCS. Russ retired in 2023 but continues to promote principle-based leadership to law enforcement managers and executives. He and Jill have two adult children and two grandchildren. Russ is humbled and grateful to be serving as a part-time Pastor of Discipleship at DBC (a position he accepted later in 2023); and he and Jill both continue to encourage men and women in their relationship with Jesus.

Worship Staff

Jacquie Stevanus

Worship Director

Jacquie Stevanus is a violinist, music educator, and lifelong worship musician. Growing up in Buffalo, New York, Jacquie came to Christ at the age of 11 at the close of her first Christmas musical program. Shortly after, she began in music ministry and has served over the years as a violinist, vocalist, pianist, children’s choir director, and worship coordinator. She maintains an active violin studio in Central Ohio, with experience in private, public school, and homeschool settings. Jacquie holds undergraduate degrees in Music Education and Bible from Baptist Bible College (PA) & Seminary and a Master of Music Education from Kent State University. Today, as Interim Worship Director at DBC, Jacquie demonstrates her passion “to share music in a variety of styles to encourage and strengthen the faith of all generations of worshippers, and to mentor the next generation of worship musicians with excellence, to the glory of God.” She is a member of the Central Ohio Symphony Orchestra and a freelance violinist. Jacquie has supported her husband, Jim, in his pastoral ministry for over 30 years. They have four adult children and three beautiful grandchildren (and counting!).

Robb Hildreth

Choir Director

Robb Hildreth was born in Columbus, Ohio. Earning a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the Ohio State University in 1984, he also was a member of the OSU Marching Band. As a freshman at OSU, Robb trusted in Christ as his personal Savior. He went on to earn a Master of Music Education degree at Bowling Green State University in 1993. Robb taught for a total of 39 years at Urbana City Schools, Worthington Christian Schools, and Marysville Schools before transitioning to semi-retirement in 2025 and a new role as Band Director at Delaware Christian School. Robb and Wendy, his wife, moved to Delaware in 1999 and became active at DBC. Robb became the DBC Choir Director in 2024; in that role, he finds purpose in helping the Choir communicate the greatness and beauty of God through their songs. “The lyrics to the songs minister to the choir members throughout each week, making it very beneficial to each member and a joy to be in Choir,” Robb says, “and then we get to share that joy with the congregation.” In addition to his musical ministry, Robb, along with Wendy, leads one of our LIFE Groups.

Nancy Clark

Pianist/Organist/Accompanist

Nancy Clark, a native Delawarean, has a B.A. degree in Music (Organ) from Ohio Wesleyan University. While in college, she put her faith in Christ through an evangelistic outreach at the Delaware County Fair. It was there that she also met Pastor Carl Witt. She started attending DBC in 1970, did some of her organ internship here, and officially became the church’s organist in 1976. Today, Nancy plays piano and organ for Sunday and special services, and she loves using music to draw others into heartfelt worship and to encourage believers. She also teaches piano and organ and is a frequent leader in our women’s Bible studies program. Nancy and her husband, Mike, have three adult daughters, fifteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Support Staff

Jessica Eversole

Office Administrator

Jessica Eversole grew up in the Cincinnati area and came to Christ as a young adult. She moved to Delaware in 2005, when the United States Marine Corps assigned Shane, her husband, to our area. After working as a property and casualty insurance agent, Jessica took command of DBC’s Church Office in 2018. She describes her role as “a little bit of everything administrative,” and she appreciates the relationships that have been built as she has worked in the office and as she and her family interact with DBC’s “extended family.” Jessica and Shane have two daughters and a son.

Bethany Feustel

Children’s Ministry Director

Bethany Feustel was raised in Hamilton, Ohio, and made a decision for Christ as a child. In college, primarily through the ministry of CRU, she fell in love with reading and learning from God’s Word for herself. She and Greg, her husband, have been married since 2010; they live in Ostrander and have four daughters, with whom they enjoy many outdoor activities. The Feustels host a LIFE Group, and Bethany has been a teacher in the women’s Bible study program. In her role as Director of Children’s Ministries, Bethany draws upon her passion for sharing God’s Word with children, helping equip parents to live out Deuteronomy 6, and supporting the dedicated volunteers in these ministries in any way she can.

Hannah Crabtree

Business Office

Hannah Crabtree was born and spent her childhood in New Hampshire, and it was as a young child that she committed to Christ. She later graduated with a B.A. degree in English from Pensacola Christian College. While at Pensacola, Hannah met Scot, whom she married in 2022. That same year, they established a home in Ashley, Ohio. In 2024, Hannah joined the staff of Delaware Bible Church and Delaware Christian School, where she handles daily financial aspects of both ministries. Hannah enjoys the opportunities that her job gives her to meet and connect with members of the church family.

Beverly Benz

Business Office

Bev Benz grew up in Delaware Bible Church and came to Christ in our Beginners class. She later attended Bluffton College and graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration. She and her son, Jordan, live in Delaware. Bev joined the church staff in 2025; and as she supports financial tasks in the Business Office, she enjoys interacting with the many people who cross her path there.

Jonathan Klemanski

Maintenance Director

Originally from New Jersey, Jonathan Klemanski trusted Christ as a child through the work of The Salvation Army, a ministry in which he later served for several years. After he and his wife, Jennifer, moved to Delaware in 2002, he earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Jonathan worked in Christian camp ministry for 18 years and supervised a child advocacy program at Delaware County Juvenile Court. Today, in his work at Delaware Bible Church and Delaware Christian School, Jonathan is responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the campus buildings. He also assists with planning for future development, and he leads a discipleship group for boys in the DCS middle school. Jonathan and Jennifer have four adult daughters.
